SCCZ conducts webinar

ZIRO, JUN 29:

A webinar on Electronic Resources and E-Learning Tools was conducted by Saint Claret College, Ziro (SCCZ) in collaboration with Library & Information Science Professionals Association (LISPA) today.

The webinar was aimed at providing valuable insights into the E-resources and tools available at the disposal of teachers and students to ensure that learning takes place even during the difficult COVID-19 pandemic times.

Dr M Maltesh, Former Librarian and Consultant, Library of RGU was the resource person, who with vast experience coupled with his expertise made the webinar lively and enriching. The role of E-Learning tools and Electronic Resources in modern day education cannot be undermined. This was highlighted through the interactive sessions and practical tips enumerated by the resource person.

More than 400 participants attended the webinar, which was hosted on Cisco Webex and was live-streamed on the Facebook page of LISPA. The webinar had both national and international participants from Zimbabwe, Nepal.

Debajit Gogoi, Assistant Professor from the Department of Geography, SCCZ, along with Suraj Gogoi, Secretary, LISPA coordinated the webinar. The feedback received from the participants shows the overwhelming success of the webinar.
