Governor BD Mishra called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here in the national capital today and briefed him on state s issues including air communication, health and education scenario.
Mishra apprised the prime minister, the challenges and aspirations of the people of the state and the mission of the recently sworn-in state government. He also highlighted the importance of the ongoing projects which he said will immensely benefit the people of the frontier state.
Road, rail, air and internet communication, education, women and children, entrepreneurship, youth capacity building, health, infrastructure and security issues also were highlighted by the Governor in the meeting.
Mishra mentioned about the endeavour and commitment of the new state government under the leadership of Pema Khandu for inclusive growth with the guiding philosophy of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas' in both letter and spirit.
He said the state government will put its focus on the sectors of health, education, water, electricity, connectivity, infrastructure and security so that each and every individual of the state is able to unlock one s potential and is provided with the opportunities for the same.
The Governor also congratulated the PM and conveyed the goodwill of the people of the state to him.
